Patrick Brown, MSN, MA, PMHNP-BC, DipACLM is a psychiatric nurse practitioner at Modyfi, a mental health practice based in Gaithersburg, Maryland, Washington, DC, and Alexandria, Virginia. Patrick and the team provide services to individuals throughout the Mid-Atlantic via telemedicine. 

Patrick began his career pursuits at the University of Maryland in Baltimore, earning his graduate degree in nursing. 

In 2019, Patrick founded Modyfi –– an acronym for mind, body, and fitness. At Modyfi, Patrick takes a personalized and patient-centered approach to mental health care.

Instead of automatically turning to prescription medication, he uses a combination of counseling and healthy lifestyle modifications to improve patients’ outlooks and mental well-being.

Outside of work, Patrick enjoys enhancing his knowledge and skillset. He proudly holds membership in several professional organizations, including the American College of Lifestyle Medicine and the American Society of Addiction Medicine.
